Email marketing privacy
This page explains ECUFLASH Ltd enquiry enrolment, newsletter consent and opting out.
Consent wording: “Yes, I'd like to receive occasional ECUFLASH news, special offers and updates by email. I can unsubscribe at any time.”
- Website enquiry email addresses are added to the ECUFLASH marketing audience under our enquiry-enrolment policy, unless an existing opt-out or suppression prevents enrolment. You can ask us not to send marketing by emailing info@ecuflash.co.uk, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- The sign-up checkbox is never ticked for you. You must tick it yourself.
- The optional sign-up checkbox records an explicit newsletter request, which is confirmed by email. This is separate from enquiry enrolment; we do not record a website enquiry as customer-confirmed consent.
- We use Brevo as our central contact-management provider. Website enquiries are added to our contact audience to help us manage customer relationships, whether or not you choose marketing. We store the email address or telephone number you provide, your name and your company name if supplied. Being in this audience does not itself give permission to send you marketing.
- Unsubscribing is handled by Brevo through the link in every email. Once you unsubscribe or are blocklisted, we do not reactivate you automatically.
- Existing newsletter permissions, explicit confirmations and owner-directed enquiry enrolment are recorded separately. We do not invent consent dates or confirmations. Existing opt-outs and suppression records are preserved.
