Speed Limiter Programming

Speed limiter programming is a software-level process carried out using manufacturer-specific diagnostic equipment. Unlike mechanical speed limiters on older vehicles, modern commercial vehicle speed limiters are controlled through the ECU (Engine Control Unit) and require specialist tools to adjust.

ECUFLASH carry out speed limiter programming for HGVs, trucks, vans, and selected light-commercial vehicles from our Doncaster workshop, or remotely where the vehicle supports it. Passenger cars are not a standard speed-limiter service: the registration check keeps the offer aligned with the vehicle's actual system.

Programming typically takes under an hour once connected. If the vehicle is at our Doncaster workshop we can often complete it on the same day. Remote sessions are booked in advance.
