DAF XF, CF and LF trucks cover very different working environments, from MX-13 long-haul tractor units to PX-engined urban distribution vehicles. We first identify the exact engine, ECU and transmission fitted to your truck so the work suits the vehicle’s duty cycle rather than relying on a generic file.
DAVIE lets us read live faults, aftertreatment data and operating parameters before discussing calibration, economy work, gearbox settings or recovery. For fleet operators, that means the focus can remain on drivability and repeatable fuel efficiency across comparable vehicles.
Before We Confirm a Programming Route
- Provide the DAF model, model year, registration or VIN, engine family and your main objective: towing torque, economy, drivability or diagnosis.
- We use DAVIE to check for active engine, SCR, DPF and gearbox faults before programming work is agreed.
- XF, CF and LF support is confirmed against the vehicle’s actual ECU and software version; remote, OBD and bench methods vary by platform.

What does DAVIE add to a DAF remap or diagnosis?
DAF DAVIE reads live data, manufacturer fault information, actuator responses and relevant service parameters. It helps us identify existing SCR, DPF or gearbox issues before any calibration decision is made.
Can DAF work be carried out remotely?
Many suitable DAF applications can be assessed for remote programming. We confirm the vehicle and ECU first, then send the appropriate interface and guide the live session.
What should I include in a DAF enquiry?
Send the registration or VIN, XF/CF/LF model, engine, current symptoms or objectives, and whether the truck is at our workshop, your depot or another location.
Having AdBlue or SCR Problems with your DAF?
We use DAF DAVIE to diagnose AdBlue, NOx sensor, SCR catalyst and engine derate faults accurately — before any repair or programming work begins.
