AdBlue Repair
Service

Diagnosis and repair of AdBlue / SCR system faults — pumps, injectors, NOx sensors, SCR catalysts, wiring, and crystallisation. For all vehicle types.

What This Service Covers

An AdBlue repair is the process of identifying and correcting the underlying physical fault in the AdBlue / SCR system — replacing or refurbishing faulty components so the system operates correctly again.

This is distinct from AdBlue software programming. Repair addresses the hardware — the pump, injector, sensors, catalyst, wiring, or contamination — rather than reprogramming the ECU to work around the fault.

In many cases, proper diagnosis reveals whether a repair or a software solution (or a combination) is the most appropriate course of action for the vehicle and its application.

Common Symptoms Bringing Vehicles In

Limp Mode / Reduced Power
AdBlue Pump Failure
Dosing Injector Fault
NOx Sensor Reading Incorrect
SCR Catalyst Below Threshold
AdBlue Tank Sensor Fault
Wiring / Connector Fault
Crystallisation in System
Restart Countdown
Vehicle Will Not Restart

AdBlue System Components

We work on the complete AdBlue / SCR system. Fault diagnosis comes first — we identify the actual failed component before recommending any repair work.

AdBlue Dosing Pump

Pressurises and delivers AdBlue to the dosing injector. Failures cause immediate warning lights and often derate.

Dosing Injector

Atomises AdBlue into the exhaust stream. Subject to clogging from crystallisation and thermal cycling.

NOx Sensors

Upstream and downstream sensors measuring exhaust NOx content. Faulty sensors trigger SCR efficiency faults.

SCR Catalyst

The main conversion catalyst. Efficiency below threshold triggers Euro 6 fault progression.

AdBlue Tank & Level Sensor

Level sensor faults cause false low-level warnings. Tank heaters fail in cold weather causing freeze events.

Wiring & Connectors

Corrosion and thermal stress on AdBlue system wiring is a common and often overlooked fault cause.

Our Approach

1

Accurate Diagnosis First

We use genuine dealer-level diagnostic equipment for each manufacturer — DAF DAVIE, Scania SDP3, Volvo PTT and equivalents — to read all live data and fault codes, not just a generic OBD reader.

2

Root Cause Identification

Many AdBlue faults are misdiagnosed. The same symptom can be caused by an injector, pump, sensor, catalyst, or wiring issue. We identify the actual cause before any parts are ordered or fitted.

3

Repair or Software Recommendation

Once the fault is identified, we advise on the most appropriate course of action — whether that is component repair or replacement, software programming, or a combination. The decision is always yours.

4

Repair Carried Out

Repair work is carried out with the correct parts for the vehicle. Where components are replaced we confirm the repair by clearing codes and verifying system operation with live data.

Vehicle Coverage

We carry out AdBlue repair and diagnostic work across the full range of commercial vehicles. Cars, vans, and agricultural machinery are also covered depending on the specific fault and access requirements.

DAF Trucks
Scania Trucks
Volvo Trucks
Renault Trucks
Mercedes-Benz
MAN Trucks
Iveco Trucks
Agricultural Machinery

If your vehicle is not listed, contact us — AdBlue systems across different manufacturers share many common components and we work across a wide range of makes.
